The seven segment Module is multiplexed module of 4 pcs 7 segment display and TM1637 driver IC. the module makes it easy to interface with Arduino, controller, or process as it is already multiplexed. For makes, it is difficult to multiplex all the 7 segments LED display to make a clock or display 4 digit number. It saves pins in the controller that can be used to interface with some other device

The module takes some extra bucks than individual components but it saves lots of time, effort, and pins on the controller. This module is most suitable for the digital clocks as it has a dot(.) after every digit and a colon (:) after 2 digits which is perfect to display time.
